Next take a rag with the stain, wipe in the direction of the wood grain. then wipe off excess with a clean rag. Soft woods like Pine, Poplar and Birch will need a pre stain to prevent blotching.
Most colors dry within 24 hours, darker colors can take between 48-78 hours.
First, send me a piece of wood or sample of color you are trying to match. Also a wood piece that will be stained. This piece should be at least a foot long, and sanded with 100 grit sand paper.
Please let me know much must stain you will need, the stain only comes in quart cans. A quart will cover aproximently 100-120 sq ft.
